Vitamin C is an essential nutrient for humans, and is a strong antioxidant and is a cofactor in several vital enzymatic reactions. It may also have anti-atherogenic, anticarcinogenic, antihypertensive, antiviral, antihistaminic, immunomodulatory, opthalmoprotective and airway-protective actions. Vitamin C may aid in the detoxification of some heavy metals, such as lead and other toxic chemicals.
Grape Seed Extract - is another very strong antioxidant. It is used as a treatment for poor circulation in the legs (peripheral venous insufficiency). Grape Seed Extract helps reduce allergic responses, provides cardiovascular protection, makes the linings of the arteries more resistant to damage and helps control excessive clotting, strengthens the capillaries ensuring a good supply of oxygen and nutrients to the brain and throughout the body, may be helpful in lowering blood pressure and enhances Vitamin C.
